Today marks the signing of the agreement between Wheaton College and Lumina College, to offer master degree in Intercultural Studies locally in Hong Kong, with fly-in faculty from the US to collaborate with Lumina faculty. What a blessing to have international partnership in Christian higher education, between a prestigious school of great heritage and a start-up in Asia. God is working out miracles for Lumina College.

Together with Asbury University MA in Communication (Digital Storytelling) and Cairn University MBA, Lumina will offer three master degrees from prestigious Christian universities in the autumn of 2018. This is a solid portfolio for Lumina to offer the finest global Christian graduate programs to Asia. Wheaton with her strong liberal arts and humanity background, Asbury in her Olympic-game quality media -communication team, and Cairn from her C.I. Scofield heritage, all converge in Hong Kong with Lumina as platform. A new era of the working of God is happening among us.

Dragon Garden, our rural campus just survived two major typhoons in Hong Kong with minimum damage. We had registered over 300 trees within the Garden, completed Form 1 survey of tree groups and completing Form 2 for 10 trees that would need trimming or removal. Together with gardening service, tree-trimming service, termite control, heritage building cleaning and maintenance, restoration of artifacts, and installation of new office, Dragon Garden had come alive again with her original beauty. We are designing education workshops and experiential trails for students from senior secondary schools and universities.
We just held our first AGM of Lumina College, with Board of Governors members and members for former organizing committee. Lot of things to be thankful for, including a quality staff team, launched over 15 quality seminars, finished eight courses in two diploma programs, and formed collaboration with global universities. Financially we are blessed with one kick-off fund and an annual-donation commitment from three family foundations respectively. We are still in need to raise fund for scholarships of students and operation fee for first five years, before our master programs tuition-fees pick up speed.
Please pray for the faculty and student recruitments for our master programs. We need quality professors who can integrate faith into learning, and potential students with commitment to serve God in the marketplace. We aim to conduct master programs presentation workshops in South Eastern Asian countries: Singapore, Taiwan, Philippines, Korea, Malaysia, and Indonesia. May God open up ways for us to connect with prospective students.
