陳羅潔湘博士

前恒生管理學院副院長及前香港浸會大學人事處總監

陳博士於高等教育界服務超過30年,經驗豐富。她主力研究在現代大學管理模式下的管理主義與維持學術質素之間的矛盾。

 

陳博士於1981年出任香港浸會學院(現為浸會大學)的校長助理,在浸會大學的經驗,啟發了她的學術研究興趣和方向:探討在大學管理與學術自主兩者矛盾中尋找平衡的可能性。

陳博士服務香港浸會大學22年,從人事處總監的職位退休後,於2011年擔任恒生管理學院副院長。她主力改組學院的管理架構,主導學院策略計劃小組與學術組並肩籌備學院以通過學術評審,成功於2017年把學院升格為私立大學,於2018年正名為香港恒生大學。

  • Invited guest lecture on “Performance Management” at a Master’s Degree Programme on Recreational Management, organized by the Physical Education Department, Hong Kong Baptist University, 2008-2010.

  • Published a Paper on “The Difficulties and Dilemma of Constructing a Model for Teacher Evaluation in Higher Education, Higher Education Management, Journal of Institutional Management in Higher Education (IMHE), Organisation for Economic Co-operationand Development (OECD), (2001) Vol 13, No.1, pp 93-111.

  • Delivered a Paper on “The Difficulties and Dilemma of Constructing a Model for Teacher Evaluation in Higher Education” at an International Conference on Changing Patterns in University Management, co-organized by Tsinghua University, OECD’s programme on Institutional Management for Higher Education (IMHE), and David C. Lam Institute for East-West Studies (LEWI) of HKBU, in Beijing, China, 2000.
