FUNG Wan Yi Winnie


Dr. Winnie Fung was born and raised in Hong Kong. She did her undergraduate and graduate studies at Harvard University, majoring in applied mathematics and then business economics. She went on to become an assistant and later associate professor of economics at a Christian liberal arts college, Wheaton College in USA. She has taught on microeconomic theory, development economics, health economics, and quantitative research methods. Her research interests focus on poverty alleviation and economic development. While at Wheaton, she also got a MA in biblical studies. She is now an associate professor at Lumina College, and looks forward to continuing the integration of faith and learning in her teaching and research work.
