Date: Jan 24, 2018 (Wed)
Time: 7:30pm to 9:30pm
Venue: Lumina College, 3/F, Breakthrough Centre, 191 Woosung Street, Jordan, Kowloon, HK.
What is fear? What is anxiety? How are they different? Why are people anxious – what about? Is there healthy and unhealthy anxiety? Why does anxiety often lead to depression? Are Christians free from anxiety and depression? What does the Bible say about anxiety? How do we help people in depression? Does the Asian family and cultural environment make Asians more – or less, vulnerable to anxiety and depression?
These are some of the questions we shall look for answers in this seminar. We hope that by facing up to the reality of the problems of anxiety and depression, Asian Christians may be able to raise awareness – their own and of others – in identifying the issues of anxiety and depression, and learn the ways to educate, prevent, manage, or seek help. For there is hope.
