The purpose of this seminar is to orient Christian scholarship with today’s global widespread pluralist culture. Pluralism of culture is not a new phenomenon. The Christian church is no stranger to it. Throughout its 2000 years of mission, the church has had to interact with many varieties of culture. The wisdom that the church was able to glean from its encounters with various cultures is in hefty demand today. This seminar explores the cultural landscape of global pluralism in order to examine what is required of Christian scholars who seek to contribute to the worldview discourse on the present cultural environment.
